Larry Eugene Smoak

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of July 14, 2012, Larry Eugene Smoak, husband of Deborah Smoak of Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Smoak are invited to attend the funeral services of the former Monday, July 16, 2012 in Ashley River Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL (3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway) between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Born July 12, 1951 in Charleston, SC, Larry was the son the late Francis "Frank" Smoak and of Elizabeth Smoak Inabinet. He was a graduate of Trident Technical College, a retired Lieutenant with the Charleston County Sherriff's Department and a member of Ashley River Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Deborah Ann Baxley Smoak of Charleston, SC; one son, Louis M. Smoak (Jessica) of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Eleanor "Ellie" Smoak and Laura L. Williams (Kerry), both of Charleston, SC; and his mother, Elizabeth Smoak Inabinet of Charleston, SC. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Francis "Frank" Smoak.
