Larry Wayne Phipps

Larry Wayne Phipps, 77, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, September 6, 2025. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Larry was born August 27, 1948, in Mullins, South Carolina, son of the late JD Phipps and the late Veneta Shelley Phipps. He was a Vietnam veteran in the US AirForce. He was an avid Carolina Gamecocks fan. Larry enjoyed metal detecting and fishing.

He is survived by his sister, Patsy B. Phipps of Mount Pleasant, SC; nephew, Chris Lowell, niece, Linda Hadden of Palm Dale, CA; great niece Emily Von Hussen (Nathaniel) of Woodland Hills, CA; and great great nephew, Julian Von Hussen. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters: Alice Fay Hadden, Marvaleen Lowell, and Linda Phipps.
