Larry Benjamin Keefer

Larry Benjamin Keefer, 66, of Hanahan, South Carolina, husband of Sandra Brummett Keefer, died Saturday, April 2, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Larry was born August 18, 1949 in Dorothy, West Virginia, son of the late Henry Keefer and the late Ruby Burkett Keefer. He retired from Westvaco where he was digester operator and was a member of Covenant Life Church in Summerville, SC.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sandy; four children: Brian Keefer (Michelle), Mark Keefer, Christina Lynn Haynes (Chris), and Richard Dial Keefer (Christina); two stepsons: Charles Robert Dial (Dajunana) and Mike Dial (Dawn); thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; five siblings: Jerry Keefer (Pam) and family, Linda Hair (Dennis) and family, Terry Keefer (Hazel) and family, Sharon Eades, and Gregory Keefer (Jane) and family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Roger Keefer, and a sister, Kathy Woudwyk.
