Larry Edward Harmon

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of January 12, 2011 Larry Edward Harmon, husband of Patricia Thomas Harmon.  Residence, Charleston, South Carolina.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Larry E. Harmon are invited to attend the funeral services of the former Saturday, January 15, 2011, at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, AT 1:30 p.m.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Saturday from 12 noon until time of service.

Mr. Harmon was born July 14, 1935 in Newberry, South Carolina, a son the late Jacob Burr Harmon and the late Grace Sanford Harmon Clemmer.  He was a United States Air Force veteran.  Larry was a retired Shop Production Planner with the Charleston Naval Shipyard.

He is survived by his wife Pat Harmon of Charleston; two daughters, Debbie Strickland (Chris) of Daniel Island, SC, Amy Turner (Chandler) of Charleston; two sons, Carl E. Harmon of Beaufort, SC, Tommy Harmon (Shannon) of Summerville; eight grandchildren, Brittany Knight, Candace Harmon, Hanna Harmon, Josh Strickland, Haley Harmon, Megan Harmon, Mason Strickland, and Owen Turner; a great granddaughter, Emma Grace Knight.  Mr. Harmon was predeceased by a brother, Richard M. Harmon.
