Entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 1, 2011, Larry P. Carson, husband of Gina Lyons-Carson. Residence, Johns Island, SC. A memorial service will be held 3:30 pm on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the residence off River Road. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:30 pm until time of service.
Born on June 15, 1955, in Bamberg, South Carolina, Larry was a son of Lorene Wiles Hutto and the late Phillip Carson. He was a Service Manager with Jilco Kitchen & Bath.
In addition to his wife Gina Lyons-Carson of Johns Island and his mother Lorene Hutto of Santee, SC; he is survived by his daughter, Jessica Carson Montgomery of Hanover, PA; five brothers, Barry Carson of Santee, SC, Joe Carson of Fair Play, SC, Gene (Diane) Carson of Summerville, Ken Carson of Holly Hill, SC, Carl (Marsha) Carson of Alabama; two granddaughters, Isabella Montgomery and Taya Montgomery; and many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his brother Cecil Carson of Holly Hill.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Larry Carson to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406 and/or Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Road, North Charleston, SC 29406.
