Larry Dawson Bordeaux, 75, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and Boone, North Carolina, husband of Elizabeth Cone Bordeaux died peacefully Tuesday, June 9, 2015. All services will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Larry was born December 16, 1939 in Ingold, North Carolina, son of the late Amos Monroe Bordeaux and Mary Lou Dawson Bordeaux. He was a NC State graduate with a degree in civil engineering. He was a retired physical plant director at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. He loved his poker and all collegiate and professional sports.
He is survived by his wife Liz; daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Murray Fink; and his granddaughters, Maddie and Sadie Fink. He is also survived by two brothers, Steven Bordeaux and his wife, Nancy of Chesterfield, VA and Neil Bordeaux and his wife, Dean of Dillon, SC.
