Laron Allen Bunch

Laron Allen Bunch, Sr., 78, of Hanahan, SC, went to be with his Savior on the morning of Tuesday, January 29, 2019. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019 in the Highland Park Baptist Church, 6211 Murray Drive at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.

Laron was born to Laron Clifford Bunch and Leila Sweat Bunch on September 17, 1940 in Summerville, SC. Laron was the devoted husband to his loving wife of 58 years, Elizabeth "Libby" Lyerly Bunch and the beloved father to Laron "Larry" Allen Bunch Jr. and Kimberly Bunch Davidson. He was well loved by his daughter-in-law Sharon Van Steyn Bunch and son-in-law Dee Davidson. Laron's laughter will be missed by his granddaughters Jessica Lynn Brown (Stephen), Chelsea Elizabeth Bunch, Heather Nicole Bunch, Caroline Elizabeth Davidson and Grace Elizabeth Davidson.

Laron leaves behind his brother Woodrow W. Bunch (Sandra), his sister Cornelia Bunch Shelley and his Uncle Paul J. Crosby.

Laron was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. He had a successful career as an Electrician with Westvaco and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers as well as Washington Masonic Lodge No. 2. Laron was an avid boater and enjoyed spending time with family and friends on the water.
