Lane Allen Aspinwall

Lane Allen Aspinwall, 57, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 19, 2014. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 29th in Bethel United Methodist Church, 57 Pitt Street at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends and family following the service . Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Lane was born December 22, 1956 in Charleston, SC, son of Thomas Preston Aspinwall and Camille Mallard Aspinwall. He was a graduate of Clemson University and worked as a sales executive in the telecommunications and information technology fields. He was an active supporter of Darkness to Light and a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his son, Thomas Aspinwall of Charleston, SC, sister, Cindi Sanders (John) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, nephews Ryan Sanders and Adam Sanders, and nieces Dale Sanders and Hannah Sanders.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Lane A. Aspinwall Memorial Scholarship at Clemson University, or the charity of your choice. Clemson University was very important to Lane. His family hopes to continue his legacy of support to his alma mater by providing both educational opportunities and inspiration to students.
