Lana Chism Bookout

Lana Chism Bookout, 69, wife of Bobby Earl Bookout of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Sunday. October 9, 2011.

The relatives and friends of Lana Bookout are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Thursday, October 13, 2011 in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 11:00 a.m.  The family will receive friends Thursday at the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.

Mrs. Bookout was born on December 21, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan daughter of the late Merle Wilson Chism and Rachel Vermont Haley Chism.  She was a beloved wife and mother, who loved to spend time with her family and friends.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bobby E. Bookout of Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Jill Milot of Taunton, MA and Nancy Bookout of Carlsbad, CA; four grandchildren and two sisters.
