Lamberto Fiel

Lamberto "Bert" Fiel, 87, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Sandra Ward Fiel, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 26, 2021. His Funeral Service will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors to follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens, Highway 17, Moncks Corner, SC. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Bert was born September 16, 1933 in the Philippines, the son of the late Pablo Fiel and the late Theresa Ramos. He faithfully served his country with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War until his retirement in 1973. Bert was an avid pool shark and was a member of the APA Pool League. He enjoyed fishing, and according to his family, he was a great cook, specializing in Filipino cuisine. He will be sorely missed by his family, friends and his "shadow", Chipper the Chihuahua.

He is survived by his daughter, Theresa Freeman of North Charleston, SC; grandson, Christopher Freeman; two nieces, Julia Hendrix and Christina Kelly; nephew, Ken Bullock and brother-in-law, Steven Bullock (Maria).

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and siblings.
