L. Paul Housand, 82, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Ann Strickland Housand entered into eternal rest Monday, May 8, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL., 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Lennie was born September 26, 1934 in Loris, South Carolina, son of the late Harvey Housand and Eutha Edwards Housand. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired Diesel mechanic.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ann Housand; daughter, Paula Buenting (Tony); son, Billy Housand (Lacey Nix); and four grandchildren all of Charleston, SC.
