L. Burk Burnsed, 58, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday, September 28, 2023. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023, in New Beginnings Community Church, 849 Fort Johnson Road at 11 am. The family will receive visitors one hour before the service at 10 am. Inurnment will be private.

Burk was born May 8, 1965, in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Elizabeth "Betsy" Burk Burnsed and the late David L. Burnsed. He attended New Beginnings Community Church and loved the Proclaimers Sunday School Class and its members. He filled his days with long walks in Bayview Farms and enjoyed spending time with his neighbors.

He is survived by his mother, Betsy; one brother, D. Lewis Burnsed (Susan) and two nieces, Jennifer Cummins and Bethany Burnsed all of Charleston, SC.
