Kurt Anthony Michi, 46, of North Charleston, SC died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, peacefully at home.
Born May 18, 1965 in Charleston, SC, he was the sixth of eight children of Douglas Leroy Michi, Sr. and Alma Jean Simons Michi. He was a graduate of Garrett High School, Johnson & Wales and the Academy of Cosmetology. Kurt had a huge sense of humor and an even bigger heart. He is well loved by his family, friends and clients. Kurt will remain in our hearts forever.
Mr. Michi is survived by his siblings: Suellen Brooks and her husband Steve of Jacksonville, NC, Larry Michi and his wife Beth of Mt. Pleasant, SC, David Michi and his wife Terrie of Nashville, TN, Jeanne Marie Michi of North Charleston, SC, Doug Michi and his wife Terri of Summerville, SC, Scott Michi and his wife Donna of Brownsburg, IN, Jimmy Michi of Plymouth, IN; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The visitation will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road Saturday, March 10, 2012 beginning at 10:00 am with a time to share memories at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Road, North Charleston, SC 29406 and/or American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406.
