Kulman Paul Smith

Kulman Paul Smith, 46, of Mount Pleasant, SC, died on June 30, 2018, after a brave battle with cancer.

He is survived by his mother, Catalina E. Smith of Mt. Pleasant, his sister Kelley Hunter and brother-in-law Keith Hunter of Evans, GA, and sister Karen Maravich and niece Chloe Maravich of Charlotte, NC. He was preceded in death by his father, Lt. Col. Kulman B. Smith (US Army-Ret).

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 11, at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, 1204 Middle Street, Sullivan's Island, SC.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kully's memory may be made to the Sarcoma Foundation of America, , or Stand Up to Cancer .

Kully Smith was born in Miami, FL, on July 31, 1971. He graduated in 1989 from Independence High School in Charlotte and received an associate degree in business from Central Piedmont Community College. He worked in specialty sales and as a certified Level 2 sommelier at Whole Foods Charleston.

Kully was an avid guitarist and music fan, with deep knowledge of numerous musical genres. He was passionate about history, movies, and travel. Kully was a devoted caregiver to his mother, whom he adored.

His beautiful presence will be greatly missed by family and friends.
