Kristen Leigh Blatchford

Sunday morning, January 9, 2011, Charleston lost a bright light when Kristen Blatchford closed her eyes.

Her smiling face and effervescent personality will be missed by the friends and patrons of Parson Jack's Caf� where she managed with owner/fianc� Steve Morgan.  She is mourned by Steve, her parents Dottie Blatchford, Kevin and Mary Jane Blatchford, her sisters Katie, Kelly, Karlie, and Jessica, her grandparents Donald and Barbara Powell, Roberta Blatchford, her Aunt Donna and Gary Brown, her Aunt Marilee and Uncle David, cousins Nathan, Brandon, Matt, Jon and David and her four-legged children Tom, Billie, Mango, and Halley.

Kristen's zest for life included her love of boating, scuba diving, water skiing, fishing, and running with her friends the "Happy Heretics."  She also loved to read, garden, cook, and spend time with her family.

Kristen supported many local charities including the Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Road, North Charleston, SC  29406.  Her family would be honored by a donation made in Kristen's name.

Friends are invited to join her family for a celebration of Kristen's life at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 2 pm.
