Entered into eternal rest on May 3, 2020 Kressey Mitchum Camp, widow of Joseph V. Camp. Residence, Atlanta, Georgia. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2020 in Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery, 3715 Azalea Drive, North Charleston, SC.

Kressey was born August 14, 1943 in Summerville, SC, daughter of the late Fearless and Lillian Britt Mitchum. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Moncks Corner, SC before moving to Atlanta, GA to be under the care of her daughter. She graduated from North Augusta Senior High May 31, 1961. She retired in September 1995 from Federal Civil Service with 30 and a half years of service. She received several outstanding performance awards during her career and was awarded the distinguished career award upon her retirement. Kressey was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed scrap booking and had created more than 30 albums of her family's photographs and history.

Kressey is survived by her two daughters, Jessica C. Robinson (Jimmy) of Charleston, SC, and Karen C. Brettell (Ian) of Atlanta, GA, her 3 grandchildren, Delaney and Nolan Robinson of Charleston, SC and Charlotte Brettell of Atlanta, GA. Five sisters, Mary M. Hollingsworth of North Augusta, SC, Corrine M. Toole (Raymond) of Beech Island, SC, Myrtle M. Rogers of Lexington, SC, Edna M. O'Brien of Abbeville, SC, and Eloise Mitchum of Columbia, SC. Four brothers, Robert D. Mitchum of Columbia, SC, Joseph F. Mitchum of North Augusta, SC, William E. Mitchum (Joyce) of Calhoun Falls, SC and Mark T. Mitchum (Charlene) of Greer, SC. She is also survived by a large number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sacred Journey Hospice Foundation, A.G. Rhodes Songs for Seniors, or to a charity of one's choice.
