Klara Borodyanski Veyber 88, of Charleston, SC, widow of Alexander Veyber entered into eternal rest Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Her Funeral Service will be held graveside Thursday, August 15, 2024 in Emanu-El Cemetery (Maryville), Sycamore Avenue at 11am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Klara was born July 18, 1936 in Kiev, Ukraine, daughter of the late Haskel and Maria Rayman Borodyanski. She and her sisters survived WWII. Klara lost her parents at a young age and was raised by her grandmother. Klara and her late husband of 36 years, Alexander, immigrated from Ukraine to Charleston, SC on October 31, 1979. They were known for their loving, kind, and hardworking union. Klara was a Charleston resident for the past 44 years. She was an amazing seamstress and cook, often providing food and baked goods for the synagogue always using the freshest ingredients. Klara was known for her hardworking nature, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Klara is survived by her son, Mikhail Veyber (Beth); two grandchildren, Alexis Mae Veyber, and Gregory Raymond Veyber all of Charleston, SC. Klara was predeceased by her sister, Dora Ptashnikovaya; and her twin sister, Bronya Raykhlin.
