Kester Vaughn Henderson

Kester "Bob" Vaughn Henderson, 86, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Naomi Snowden Henderson entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 30, 2014. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow with military honors in Dorchester Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Bob was born July 31, 1928 in Conway, SC, one of three sons of the late Ralph Jackson Henderson and Reba Martin Henderson. He retired from the Polaris Missile Facility as Comptroller. Bob was a USAF veteran and a member of Wando Woods Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Naomi Snowden Henderson; three daughters, Jackie Smith (Billy), Susan Holladay (Ted), Sherri Smith (Teddy) all of North Charleston; two sons, Eric Henderson (Sharon) of Moncks Corner, SC, and Bobby Henderson of North Charleston; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. His brothers, Jack and Ralph, preceded him in death.
