Kenneth Edward Westbury, 63, of Summerville, SC, died Saturday, March 15, 2014. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in the J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.
Kenneth was born February 11, 1951 in Summerville, South Carolina, son of the late Lovic Edward Westbury and the late Hazel Stephens. He was an avid pool player and loved to tell jokes. He also loved Christian music, country music and western movies. He loved life and loved everyone.
He is survived by sister, Dale Westbury Scott of North Charleston, SC; two nephews, Richard Scott and Ryan Scott, both of North Charleston, SC; an aunt/ sister, Betty S. Brooks of Hanahan, SC, aunt Catherine Canady of North Charleston, SC; uncle, Herbert Stephens of Hodgenville, KY. Many special cousins.
Special thanks to the staff at Scotch Range Facility and the Dorchester Co. Disability and Special Needs Board for all the support and care given over the years.
Memorials may be made to Lighthouse Baptist Church, 100 Central Ave., Goose Creek, SC 29445, and or a charity of one's choice.
