Kenneth Dean Presnell, 67, of James Island, South Carolina, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. The family will receive friends Friday, October 19, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
He was born in Charleston, SC on April 14, 1951 to the late Asbury "Bubba" Presnell and Annie Laura Jeffcoat Presnell. He attended Murray Vocational High School. Over the years, Ken had various jobs with Pepsi, Terminix, Revco, Atlantic Pest Control and DCI Dialysis Clinic. For many years he was self-employed in the lawn maintenance business, from which he retired earlier this year. He was also a retired SC State Constable.
Ken had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand and do what he could for others. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Ken is survived by his daughter, Deana Presnell Perez and her husband Art and grandsons Carson and Carter all of Abilene, TX; his brother, Keith Presnell (Patty) and sister, Darlyn Johnston (Paul) of James Island, SC; several nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Phyllis Presnell Smith.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a Charity of ones choice.
