CPO Kenneth Lee McLaughlin, USN Ret., 61, of Summerville, SC, went to Heaven, Monday, January 8, 2018. His memorial service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service.

Kenneth was born October 27, 1956 in Streator, IL, son of the late Joseph William McLaughlin and the late Elizabeth Mary Smith McLaughlin. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer US Navy Retired and currently employed by SPAWAR.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Nicole Weathersbee (Jefferson); two sons, Michael Ryan McLaughlin and Aaron Kyle McLaughlin all of Summerville, SC; two sisters, Christine Bradish and Kathy Scott both of Streator, IL; brother, Michael McLaughlin of Kingsport, TN; two grandchildren, Theodore Weathersbee and Lachlan Weathersbee.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife and soul mate, Richealle McLaughlin.
