Kenneth Charles (Casey) Lackey, 55, of North Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on December 7, 2013. He was predeceased by his father, BMC Murphy W. Lackey, US Navy Retired, and his mother, Constance Mary Stirrup Lackey. A Gathering of Friends will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Monday, December 16, 2013.
Mr. Lackey was born on December 13, 1957 and was a 1975 graduate of Porter Gaud in Charleston. He graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1980. He was subsequently employed as an engineer with the Charleston Naval Shipyard. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Yellow Cab in Charleston.
Mr. Lackey is survived by two uncles, John T. Stirrup, Sr. (Julia), of Fair Lawn, NJ, Thomas L. Stirrup, of Phoenix, AZ and numerous cousins.
Mr. Lackey was an avid sports fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys and Clemson Tigers.
