Kenneth Jay Kleinkopf, 63, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Friday, February 2, 2024. His Graveside Service will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024 in Brith Sholom Beth Israel Cemetery (Maryville), Sycamore Avenue, at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.
Kenneth was born February 17, 1960 in Charleston, SC, a son of the late Robert Kleinkopf and the late Barbara Lerner Kleinkopf.
He is survived by his sisters, Marsha Koczyla and Joyce Cerato of Charleston SC. He also leaves two wonderful nieces behind. He loved his dear friend Robby Ross for all his support and assistance his whole life.
Kenny graduated from Middleton High School in 1979, He started his career at the Charleston Navy Base where he specialized on nuclear submarines as an outside machine mechanic. He loved fast cars and rebuilding old cars. He spent Sunday afternoon enjoying softball at the JCC with his Dad (Bob) and friends.
Life changed for Kenny in 1989 with an accident that left him disabled from a closed-head injury. He found enjoyment in speaking with friends, watching old TV shows and playing on the computer. He was grateful to his Mom (Barbara) for all the care she gave him.
Kenny had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.
He will truly be missed by the people that loved him.
