Kenneth "Kenny" Michael Owens, Jr., 40, of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 7, 2017. His Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 12, 2017 in Palmetto Community Church, 1965 Bees Ferry Road at 7:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.
Kenny was born May 22, 1977 in Charleston, SC, son of Kenneth Michael Owens and Carletta Justice Cook. He was a commercial construction worker.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Carletta Mike Cook of Charleston, SC; father and step-mother, Kenneth and Donna Owens of Summerville, SC; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Justice of Charleston, SC; paternal grandmother, Joyce Baldwin, and extended family.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Ground 40 Ministries.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Palmetto Community Church Youth Ministries, 1965 Bees Ferry Road, Charleston, SC 29414.
