Kenneth Lee Garvin, 58, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 11, 2025. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 in the Wesley Memorial Methodist Church, 5412 Highway 165 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service. A private burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Kenny, also known by beloved friends as “Red”, was born August 15, 1966 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Robert Irvin Garvin and Millicent Golden Garvin. He was a man whose heart belonged entirely to his family, especially his three children. He cherished every moment with them. He was always offering a helping hand with a smile. His infectious smile and quick wit often turned even the most mundane moments into something memorable, as he filled the room with laughter through his funny stories and jokes. Kenny was a hard worker and a dedicated business owner that helped so many families especially around his hometown of Hollywood, SC. Even with his demanding schedule, he made time for his passions. He was an avid hunter, finding joy in the great outdoors. He loved gathering with friends and family to watch those gamecocks play football and baseball. Whether in his personal life or professional endeavors, Kenny's spirit was infectious, and his unwavering love for life, laughter, and family left a mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, Johnathan Garvin of Charleston, SC and Kenneth Garvin of Bluffton, SC; daughter, Hayes Garvin of Charleston, SC; brother, Robby Garvin (Chris); sister, Mitzi Nelson (Hootie); nieces, Aubre Deehr (Sheldon) and Ashlynn Nelson; nephew, Sean Garvin (Jessica); and four grand-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wesley Memorial Methodist Church, 5412 SC-165, Hollywood, SC 29449.
