Keith Smoak

Keith Smoak, 57, of Goose Creek, SC, husband of Debbie Moore Smoak, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011, in a local hospital.

Born September 3, 1953 in Charleston, SC he was one of four children of William Henry Smoak and Joyce B. Smoak Horne.  Keith's passion was baseball. He coached children helping them to play and love the game. Keith was a University of South Carolina Gamecock fan.  He was a purchasing agent with Serco for ten years. 

Mr. Smoak is survived by his wife of 29 years, Debbie Smoak of Goose Creek, SC; sons, David Michael Smoak and his wife Sonya of Farragut, TN and Justin Kyle Smoak and his wife Kristin of Seattle, WA; brothers, Bill Smoak and his wife Mikki and Kevin Smoak all of Hanahan, SC; sister, Brenda McCall and her husband Larry of Hanahan, SC; newborn twin grandchildren, Evan Keith Smoak and Olivia Grace Smoak; his mother, Joyce B. Horne and her husband, Robert, of Givhans, SC.  He was preceded in death by his father.

The funeral service will be held in Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road Friday, April 22, 2011 between 7:00 and 9:00 PM.
