Kay Robinson Weeks

Kay Robinson Weeks, 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Duncan H. Weeks Jr., entered into eternal rest Friday, September 29, 2023. Graveside service will be held Friday, October 6, 2023, in the Bethany Cemetery, 10 Cunnington Avenue at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel.

Kay was born January 14, 1934, in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late George S. Robinson and the late Beatrice Winchell. Kay and Duncan enjoyed singing together in various venues, which began when they were teenagers. They, with the help of God, sang before thousands of people in the US, Canada and six European countries helping to raise money for cancer, heart, and lung research and various other charities. She had a long and productive career as a Supervisor with the South Carolina Electric and Gas Company for 40 years.

She is survived by three nieces, Carol Pugliese, Susan Stiles, Beth Galt, and five nephews, David Hooks, Andrew Hooks, Kenneth Weeks, Mark Weeks and Scott Weeks and her sister-in-law, Marilyn Weeks and many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by husband, Duncan H. Weeks, Jr., sister Beverly Hooks, father, George S. Robinson, and mother, Beatrice Robinson.
