Kay Peagler McKissick

July 3, 1943 — September 4, 2011

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of Sunday, September 4, 2011, Kay Peagler McKissick, wife of Howard C. McKissick. Residence, Moncks Corner, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service, Monday, September 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.                           


Kay was born on July 3, 1943 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Curtis Peagler, Sr. and Eva Oliver Peagler.  She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. 


She is survived by her husband, Howard, of 32 years; her children:  Tamara (Tommy) Prox of Moncks Corner and Chuck (Amy) Ray of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren: Ashton Leedy, Cory Ray and Samantha Ray; a great-grandchild, Joey Ray; a future great-grandchild, Bryson Leedy; four step-children: Gina, Cindy, Tammy and Eddy; sister:  Bonnie Clark; brother: Curtis Peagler, Jr.; and nephews: Curtis Peagler, III and Wade Peagler.
