Kay Elaine Blitch Boggs, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Samuel M. Boggs, entered into eternal rest on the morning of September 30, 2024. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Friday afternoon, October 18, 2024 at three o’clock. Friends and family may visit from 2 o’clock until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 269 Calhoun St, Charleston, SC, 29401. 

Mrs. Boggs was born on September 17, 1941 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Herbert M. Blitch, Sr and the late M. Azalee Pritcher Blitch. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Charleston. Surviving are two daughters, Melinda Einan and her husband David of Phillips, WI, and Karin Berg and her husband Mike of Channahon, IL; son, Eric Larson and his wife Mandy of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
