Katie Watford Eubanks

Katie Watford Eubanks of Goose Creek, SC died February 6, 2016 at a local hospital. Mrs. Eubanks was born March 21, 1925 in Darlington County, S.C., the daughter of the late Norman Watford and Mary Reynolds Watford and the wife of the late Edmond Eubanks, Sr.

She is survived by Edmond D. Eubanks, Jr. (Carolyn) of Goose Creek, SC and Martin R. Eubanks (Karen) of Summerville, SC, four grandchildren, Blake and Taylor Eubanks of Goose Creek, SC and Lauren and Morgan Eubanks of Summerville, SC.

Mrs. Eubanks was a dedicated teacher in the public schools of S.C. for 42 years, retiring after 14 years in Berkeley County.
She was a Charter Member of St. James United Methodist Church, a member of the Agape Sunday School Class and a Bible Study Group. She held various other positions in the church over the years. She was also a member of the Retired Teachers Association, Kappa Kappa Iota Teacher's Sorority and the Beverly Hills Homeowners Association.

Relatives and Friends of the family of Mrs. Eubanks are invited to attend her funeral service on February 10, 2016 at 12PM at St. James United Methodist Church in Goose Creek, SC. Interment will be held at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens following the service.The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR,INC. NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Rd. on February 9, 2016 between the hours of 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
