Katie Thomas Ballzigler, 64, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Harry Daniel Ballzigler, Jr. entered into eternal rest Tuesday, June 26, 2018. Her funeral service will be held at the graveside Monday, July 2, 2018 in Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Katie was born April 26, 1954 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late John S. Thomas and Melrose Johnson Thomas. She was a Medical Billing Coder with Roper Hospital for 27 years. Katie is survived by her husband of 34 years, Harry; two sons: Daniel C. Ballzigler and Brandon L. Ballzigler; sister, Phyllis Jane Floyd (Ken) ; and sister-in-law, Beverly Lynn Ballzigler (Edward Vaughn) all of Charleston.

She was predeceased by her brother, Jay Thomas and her daughter, Christina Marie Greene.
