Kathy Buffaloe Powell

Kathy Buffaloe Powell, 65, of Awendaw, South Carolina, wife of L. Thomas Powell, entered into eternal rest Saturday, November 12, 2016. Her memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 16, at The Church of the Holy Cross, 2520 Middle Street, Sullivan's Island, at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow the service. Arrangements by J. Kathy was born August 10, 1951 in Bridgeton, New Jersey, daughter of the late William Earl Buffaloe and Margaret Burnett Buffaloe. She was a longtime resident of Spartanburg, SC and a former member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church. Since moving to Awendaw, Kathy has been a member of The Church of the Holy Cross.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years; her daughter, Amanda P. Stephenson (Nathan) of Evergreen, CO; her son, William Powell of Greenville, SC; her brother, Roger Buffaloe, Sr. of Wilmington, NC; and her granddaughter, Annabelle Stephenson of Evergreen, CO.
