Kathy Ackerman Dodd, 62, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Richard E. Dodd, Jr., entered into eternal rest Sunday, July 5, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 9, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 4:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's Chapel Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Kathy was born July 26, 1952 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Fred R. Ackerman and Kathleen Johnson Ackerman. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Dodd, Jr. of Charleston, SC, son, Shawn C. Dodd of Charleston, SC; brother, Charles "Chuck" Ackerman (Cindy) of Strawberry, AZ.
