Kathryn Elizabeth Hanold

Kathryn Elizabeth Hanold, 63, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Gregg Thomas Hanold, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 18, 2022. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 9:00 am.

Kathryn was born October 3, 1958 in Corvallis, Oregon, daughter of John Kennely McDonald and Ellenor Bullock McDonald. She was a loving wife and a devoted mother who loved the outdoors, wildlife, art, and the mountains. She was an inspiration to all that knew her and will be forever missed.

In addition to her husband of 39 years, Kathryn is survived by her children, David Hanold, Andrew McClain Hanold, and Laura Hanold; and her brothers, John McDonald (Melanie) and Alex McDonald (Lorie).
