Kathleen Kennerty Rackley

Kathleen Kennerty Rackley, 70, of Charleston, South Carolina, beloved wife of Charles Gary Rackley, entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 8, 2019. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 13, 2019 at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil service at 6:00 p.m.

Her Mass of Resurrection will be held Friday, June 14, 2019 in St. Mary of the Annunciation Roman Catholic Church, 89 Hasell Street, Charleston, at 10:30 a.m.

Kathleen was born September 13, 1948 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Charles Edward Kennerty and Janice Collins Kennerty. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She obtained both her bachelor's and master's degree from the College of Charleston. She was a retired educator, and real estate agent with Carolina One Real Estate.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Gary Rackley of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Kelly Rackley Snipes (Matt) of Daniel Island, SC and Joy Rackley Martin (Ted) of Minneapolis, MN; one son, Charles Gary Rackley, Jr. (Katie) of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren, Patrick Snipes, Rutledge Snipes, Caroline Martin and Oliver Martin; three sisters, Mary Cecile Kennerty and Kay Elizabeth Kennerty, both of Charleston, SC and Janice K. Anderson (Jim) of Charlotte, NC.

She will be dearly missed by the multitude of the friends and family whose lives she touched.
