Kathleen J. Hall, 91, widow of Scott Wilson Hall, of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest Wednesday, July 4, 2012. A funeral service will be held Saturday July 7, 2012 at 11:30 am in The Chapel at Bishop Gadsden. Interment will be held Saturday in Magnolia Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
Kathleen was born July 19, 1920 in Birmingham, AL, the daughter of Samuel Lewis Johnson and Kathleen Norvell Johnson. She was a graduate of Ashley Hall, Arlington Hall, and attended The College of Charleston. She was a member of First (Scots) Presbyterian Church, The Confederate Home, Junior League of Charleston, Ladies Fuel Society, Colonial Dames and The Thursday Club.
She is survived by one son: Scott W. Hall, Jr. (Claire) of Greenville, SC; three daughters: Kathleen H. Ravenel (Dan) of Charleston, SC, Barbara H. Beard (Boykin) of Camden, SC; and Lucie H. Maguire (Bobby) of Charleston, SC; 10 grandchildren: Mary Claire, Hailey, Kathleen, Louisa, Henrietta, Lucie Norvell, Robert, Robert, Barbara, Scott and 13 great grandchildren; one brother: Edward Norvell Johnson of Charleston, SC; She is predeceased by one brother, Samuel Lewis Johnson, Jr. and one sister, Mary Norvell Johnson Watson.
