Kathleen Thompson Wilson Cole Kathleen Thompson Wilson Cole, 92, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Herbert M. Wilson and James Eugene Cole entered into eternal rest Monday, February 19, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road, James Island, SC.

Kathleen was born March 26, 1925 in Detroit , Michigan, daughter of the late Ralph Alexander Thompson and Helen Larson Thompson. She was a retired Supervisor with the Charleston Naval Shipyard. Kathleen was former member of the Toastmasters, and was known to everyone as Nana.

She is survived by her daughter, Dixie Low of Charleston, SC; son, Dr. Steven L. Wilson of Augusta, GA; six grandchildren, King P. Walker, Jr., Tracy Walker Silver, NIcole Wilson, Ashley Wilson Brasier, John Christian Wilson, Elizabeth K. Wilson; six great-grandchildren, Julia Louise Copeland, Marcus Ryan Walker, Larson Alexander Walker, Maxwell Wilson Walker, Ashley Garrett, Jersey Brooke Silver, and three great-great grandchildren, Miles Copeland, Macie Copeland, Ryan Leigh "Ryleigh".

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church Memorial Fund, 1293 Orange Grove Road, Charleston, SC 29407 and or the Carter Mae Assisted Living, 1660 Ingram Road, Charleston, SC 29407.
