Kathleen Owens Clark entered into eternal rest on the morning of October 25, 2011, Kathleen Owens Clark, widow of Watson Woodrow "Woody" Clark. Residence, Charleston, SC. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Friday, October 28, 2011 from 5 until 7 pm. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Grace on the Ashley Baptist Church at 11 am. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Born on October 16, 1925 in Savannah, Georgia, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Owens and Alice Catherine Kessler Owens. She was a homemaker and a very active member of Charleston Heights Baptist Church and Grace on the Ashley Baptist Church.

Kathleen was one of the most loving and nurturing friends always willing to help another. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a funfilled Mom and Nana. She loved the Lord and was devoted to her church serving as a nursery Sunday School teacher for over 50 years. Kathleen embraced life and touched the lives of everyone she met.

Surviving are her son, Buddy Clark (Debbie) of Seabrook, TX; three daughters, Lynda Clark Haun (David) of Hanahan, Kathy Clark Faenzi (Bob) of Burlingame, CA, Peggy Clark Hilton (Charlie) of Charleston; eleven grandchildren, April Blanton (Andy), Matthew Reynolds, Brian Haun, Heather, Jackie, Marianne, Jacob, Blake, Aileen, Cynthia, Cameron, Garrett and Natalie; and ten great grandchildren, Lilly, Mason, Brady, Jesse, Angeleena, Daniel, Dominic, Sonny, Emery Grace and Nora Dean.

Memorials may be made in honor of Kathleen Clark to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 300 West Coleman Blvd., Suite 206, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.
