Kathleen O'Hagan Blanchard, 85, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Paul Eugene Blanchard entered into eternal rest Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 11, 2023 in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 95 Hasel St at 10:00 am. Prayers of final commendation, to immediately follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Kathleen was born July 23, 1938 daughter of John J. and Helen O'Hagan.  Kathleen was a lifelong Charlestonian and a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She was active in many Charleston organizations and served as the magazine editor of Gateway to Historic Charleston. She was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.  

She is survived by her daughter, Helaine Blanchard (Greg) Christy; son, Paul E (Jim Gibboney) Blanchard, Jr.; two grandchildren, Caroline Christy and Elizabeth Christy;
