Kathleen Blanche Adams, 63, of Summerville, South Carolina, died Friday, October 21, 2016. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016, in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Avenue, at 12:30 p.m. A private inurnment will be held at Dorchester Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, October 24, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer vigil beginning at 7:30 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC.

Kathy was born January 12, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of the late Richard H. McAdams and the late Anne D. Merendino McAdams. She grew up in Levittown, Long Island, NY and earned a Master of Arts degree from New York Institute of Technology. Kathy moved to SC in 2005 and together with her sister owned and operated Preppy Pet in Ladson, SC. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She will be dearly missed by her sister, JoAnne Campbell of Summerville, SC; brother, Michael McAdams of Mesa, AZ; three nieces and nephew: Kristen Campbell, Kathryn Michael, Samantha McAdams and Curtis McAdams.
