Katherine Stewart Brenza

Katherine Stewart Brenza, 41, of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, wife of Stephen Brenza, entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 20, 2025. Her Celebration of life service will be held, Thursday, April 3, 2025 at J. Henry Stuhr Funeral Home Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Rd., N. Charleston, SC 29406 at 6:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Katherine was born to Louise Richardson Fair Henderson and Robert “Bobby” Helms Henderson of Leland, MS at King’s Daughters Hospital in Greenville, MS on July 24, 1983. She was raised in Leland, MS, attended preschool at Leland Academy and was a member of First Baptist Church of Leland until her family moved to Farrell, MS where she attended St. George’s Episcopal Day School in Clarksdale, later transferring to Bayou Academy, and the studied at Mississippi Delta Community College.

Preceding her in death are both of her parents, maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Stewart Fair, Sr. (Mary Louise Richardson) of Louisville, Mississippi, and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Strong Henderson, Jr. (Ercel Lara Helms) of Leland, Mississippi. Katherine leaves behind her husband, Stephen Brenza and their two children, Anna Katherine 19, and Christopher Layton 17.
