Karen Marie Zaehringer, 53, wife of John Zaehringer, entered into eternal rest on the morning of December 23, 2011. Residence, Charleston, South Carolina. The funeral service for Karen will be held at Seacoast Church, West Ashley Campus, 2049 Savannah Hwy, Suite H, Charleston, Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 3 pm. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at J. HENRYSTUHR WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Wednesday from 5 pm until 7 pm.

Born October 23 1958, Karen was the daughter of Audrey June Kehn and the late Lyle E. Kehn. She was a member of James Island Seacoast Church where she was a Children's Ministry Leader and was an assistant manager of All Seasons True Value Johns Island.

She is survived by her husband, John Zaehringer of Charleston, SC; her mother Audrey J. Kehn of Bettendorf, IA; daughter: Samantha Nicole Zaehringer of James Island; brother: Russel L. Kehn of Bettendorf, IA.
