Karen Montgomery Johnson

Karen Montgomery Johnson, 62, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Michael Johnson entered into eternal rest Thursday, May 18, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Committal service will be held Monday, May 29, 2017 in Blues Grove Baptist Churchyard, Mount Airy, NC at 10:00 a.m.

Karen was born July 1, 1954 in Mount Airy, NC, daughter of the late James E. Montgomery and Doris Willard Montgomery. She was a retail sales representative with R.J. Reynolds and Food Lion. She was most recently a devoted caregiver to her granddaughter Brooklyn, and a member of Grace on the Ashley Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Brady Johnson his wife Stephanie and granddaughter Brooklyn Ray Johnson all of Charleston, SC; two brothers, Mike Montgomery, David Montgomery of both of NC; two sisters, Tammy Summerlin, Jamie Molinar both of Charleston, SC;
