Karen Lynn Heupel, 63, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 14, 2023.  Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 in J. Henry Stuhr Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Rd., N. Charleston at 4:00 PM. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Karen was born October 8, 1960 in Schenectady, New York, daughter of the late Earl Benson and the late Julia Rose Benson. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, doing crafts, and taking walks.    

She is survived by four daughters: Stephanie Smith of Goose Creek, SC, Lauren Heupel, Cheryl Heupel of Bonneau, SC, and Adrianne Heupel of N. Charleston, SC; five grandchildren: Justin Carver, Jazmine Zindars, Arielle Zindars, Delaney Crawford and Alayna Crawford; and two brothers, David Benson of Schenectady, NY, Lawerence Benson (Barbara) of N. Charleston, SC.
