Karen Brooks Flanigan, 51, of Hanahan, SC, died Friday, October 10, 2014. Her funeral service will be held Monday, October 13, 2014, in J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 12, 2014, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.
Karen was born November 3, 1962 in Charleston, SC, daughter of Ronald S. Brooks and Elizabeth Betty Stephens Brooks. She was the office manager at the Yamaha Suzuki Sea Doo in Charleston.
She is survived by her parents and two daughters, Nicole Scurry of Goose Creek, SC, and Brooke Salais of Bremerton, WA; one grandson, Joshua Scurry; one brother, Steve Brooks of Hanahan, SC, and her aunt, Cathleen Canady.
