Kaminiben J. Patel, 72, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Jay Patel entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 13, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 10:00 am.  

Kaminiben was born September 25, 1951 in Kothamdi, India, daughter of the late Vallabhbhai Patel and the late Laxmiben Patel.  She was self employed.  She enjoyed cooking and traveling.  She was a very spiritual person and was devoted to the Hindu Temple.  She and her late husband were members of the Lions Club International.

She is survived by four children: Saloni Patel of San Antonio, TX, Sital (Prakash) Patel of Nashville, TN, Deepa Patel (Pritham) Ramdial of Hanahan, SC and Vinesh Patel of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren: Sai Patel, Gia Patel, Aashir Ramdial and Laxmi Ramdial; five siblings: Jagubhai (Vajyaben) Patel of Birmingham, England, Taraben Patel of Richmond, VA, Dinubhai Patel of New Zealand, Matuben (Kalyanbhai) Kalyan of Richmond, VA and Bhanuben (Hasmukhbhai) Patel of Dallas, TX. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jay Patel; and one sister, Savitaben Patel.
