Justin Edward Kersey

Justin Edward Kersey, 33, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 3, 2021. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Justin was born June 19, 1988 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Justin worked as a landscaper and loved being outdoors. He was an accomplished guitarist, self-appointed bird watcher, and enjoyed boxing and strength training.

He is survived by his parents, Melissa Sumner Kersey (fiancé, Lester Schwartz) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Joe Kersey (Paula Lajeunesse) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; brother, Bryan Joseph Kersey of Charleston, SC; sister, Sarah Grace Kersey of Charleston, SC; paternal grandmother, Vera Grace Hazewinkel of Columbia, SC; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edward Donald Sumner and Billie Sumner; and paternal grandfather, Ray Kersey.
