June Marie Adcock Wyas, 86, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late John James Wyas and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Born on January 25, 1940, in Flat Creek, Tennessee, June was the cherished daughter of the late James Henry Adcock and Gladys Marie Burrow Adcock. Throughout her life, she touched many hearts with her warmth and dedication, exemplified through her professional work as a Staffing Specialist for Naval Supply Center and her joyful spirit in hobbies such as shopping and playing bingo.

June's legacy is carried forward by her loving family. She is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia Sue Wyas Stegall and her husband Jerry of Hanahan, South Carolina, and Tammy M. Wyas, also of Hanahan. Her granddaughters, Amelia Stegall and her husband Zachary McCarthy, along with Amber E. Wyas, hold special places in her heart. She also leaves behind her siblings Deborah Burrow Rowan (Clay) of Anniston, Alabama, and Jerry Wayne Burrow and his wife Tina of Shelbyville, Tennessee.

June's life was marked by love and resilience, having endured the loss of her husband, John, as well as her sons, John James Wyas II and Gary Lynn Wyas. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, James Ricky Adcock and Judy Adcock.

The Funeral service will be held Friday, May 29, 2026 at J. Henry Stuhr Funeral Home, 2180 Greenridge Rd., N. Charleston at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, South Carolina. The Family will receive friends Thursday, May 28, 2026 at J. Henry Stuhr Funeral Home, Northwoods Chapel from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

June's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and the many who were privileged to know her.
