June Annette Murray Wells, 86, of Folly Beach, SC, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 29, 2020. A private graveside service will be held at Magnolia Cemetery. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC 29414.
Born in Charleston, SC, on March 3, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Wade Lewis Murray and Ethel Morse Murray. June was a graduate of College of Charleston and taught kindergarten for 40 years at Marion Hankel Kindergarten for Free Kindergarten Association of Charleston. She was the Director of The Confederate Museum in Charleston, SC, for 40 years and was President General for The United Daughters of the Confederacy. June loved all animals and will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and the community.
June is survived by her son, William Wade Wells, of Folly Beach, SC.
