June McMillan Smith, 65, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Kenneth Lamar Smith, Jr. entered into eternal rest Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 14, 2012 in St. Mark United Methodist Church, 413 Geddes Ave. at 2:00 pm. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

June was born January 23, 1947 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of William F. McMillan and June Risley McMillan. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for 25 years and served on numerous committees and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lamar Smith, Jr. of Charleston, SC; son, Kenneth L. Smith III (Lisa) of Charleston, SC, son, William F. Smith of Charleston, SC, son, Tommy M. Smith (April) of Johns Island, SC; daughter, Elizabeth Smith Weesner (Kelly) of Charleston, SC; brother, Harold McMillan (Dawn) of Charleston, SC; sister, Peggy Elsey (Mark) of Charleston, SC, sister, Julia Rusch (Ricky) of Johns Island, SC, and 11 Grandchildren.
